The moment of truth.....
I primed the fuel line and carbs with the fuel pump lever. I manually wedge the choke cams a the choke cable is not working.
Key in, she started right up. Very smoky after 8 years. After running for a few minutes, the exhaust cleaned up nicely.
The second video has some shots of the gauges and oil pressure. The thermostat opened up fine and coolant was flowing. Lots of tappet noise and the alternator sounds like it needs a rebuild.
Overall, the engine runs really well with 75 PSI oil compression. I could not run it for more a minute as as the cooling system was not hooked up (just got the hoses in the mail).
The Seafoam apparently did the trick! I rechecked the compression and all of the cylinders are in the 180 PSI range now.
